Susanna De Balloa was the firstborn daughter of Duke De Balloa, a distant cousin of King Phillipe IV of the Gallico Kingdom, and of Queen Margaret De Carlo, who had married into the royal family of the Estruscan kingdom. Initially, she was first in line to become engaged to Prince Alfonso De Carlo, Margaret’s son and the sole lineal heir to the throne. However, she passed away in an illness before any arrangements could become official, and her younger sister, Lariessa, took her place as Alfonso’s potential bride.
